Obtaining the first residence permit is the beginning of the residency journey, not the end. To renew the Golden Visa, the holder must continue to satisfy the applicable requirements, including maintaining the qualifying investment while the permit continues to rely on that investment and complying with the minimum stay requirement of seven days in the first year and fourteen days during each subsequent two-year period.

Renewal also involves the required documentation, fees and compliance checks. Since February 2026, ARI renewals are generally processed electronically through AIMA's renewal portal, although biometrics may still be requested when necessary. The practical advantage of ongoing professional support is that these requirements can be monitored over time, so the investment and immigration sides remain aligned through renewals and future residence planning.
